Mesotherapy competition

About the competition

Every year, in preparation for the IV International Congress of Mesotherapy Experts (Mesocongress), the Kazakhstan Society of Mesotherapy (KOMTI) holds an international competition of clinical cases on the use of injection therapeutic drugs for mesotherapy, biorevitalization and bioreparation in dermatology and aesthetic medicine in order to correct diseases and improve skin aesthetics.


Specialists with medical education who are proficient in the method of mesotherapy (according to the legislation of their country), have practical experience and a desire to share it are invited to participate in the competition.


All competitive works are approved by the scientific committee, which is headed by the head of the scientific program of the Mesocongress – Dr. Philippe Petit, founder and president of the World Anti-Aging Mesotherapy Society (WAAMS), founder of the interuniversity diploma program in mesotherapy at the University of Bordeaux in France, director of the scientific program of the annual International Congress of Mesotherapy Experts.


This year, 2024, there were three winners:

  • 1st place in the “Dermatology” category was taken by a dermatovenerologist, cosmetologist at the Tulip Medicine Almaty clinic, Ramina Ermekovna Omarbekova, with a case study on an integrated approach to solving the problem of post-acne.
  • 1st place in the “Dermatocosmetology” category was taken by ophthalmologist, dermatologist, cosmetologist Aliya Orynbasarovna Akhmetova with a case study on an interdisciplinary approach to rejuvenation of the periorbital area.
  • 2nd place in the “Dermatocosmetology” category was taken by dermatologist, cosmetologist Elena Valerievna Vorobyova (Russia) with a case study on the gender approach to mesotherapy figure correction.
